To restart your WhatsApp, you will have to restart the whole device. To do this, follow the steps below:
iPhone X

Step 1: Press and then keep holding the side button and either volume down or up buttons.

Step 2: Open Settings again, tap WhatsApp and turn everything back on.

Step 1: Launch App Store and click Updates at the bottom.
